1st Grade Bible Dedication

What a special day! Nate was presented with his Bible at FBCTW at a really lovely luncheon after church. He was also paired with a elder in the church. Here's Nate with his new Bible and Mr. Thomas.

Bug Camp

I'm still catching up on my August blogging. Ever summer our church has a Mini Camp. The kids look forward to it every year.

Housewarming

Our friends, the Loves, had a housewarming party and a good time was had by all! Happy Cinco de Mayo (a week late)!

Nate had a tattoo put on his cheek at Kids' Night Out. Shameless advertising for FBCTW VBS 2012! :) He was a walking advertisement for 3 days! It's going to be a great time for the kids!
 Mason and Anna...sweetness!
The next move is ours! Let the countdown begin...

Choir Program

Have I mentioned lately how special our church is? I am constantly reminded how blessed we are to be members of FBCTW.  This Wednesday night Nate had his end of the year Mini Singer choir program. I was amazed at all the kids had learned this year.

Sunday Funday: Bright Sunday

The Sunday after Easter is traditionally Bright Sunday at FBCTW, and we celebrate by having our annual Bright Sunday church picnic. This Sunday was a fun filled day of rock wall climbing, Easter egg hunting, football, and playing with friends.

Nate is the little guy in the gray shirt. He loved playing w/the big kids!

Date Night: Dosey Doe and Joe

FBCTW blesses us with a date night once a month. The kids attend Kids' Night Out, a fun themed evening of supervised fun with their sweet church friends, and we get a night out together. This month, we headed to Dosey Doe where we ate a delicious dinner and watched a concert by the one and only Joe Diffie. Way back when...Willie and I were big fans, so we were able to reminisce about the good old days together. Dosey Doe was an incredible venue, and we're already checking the calendar to buy tickets to our next concert..John Michael Montgomery and Mark Chesnutt...here we come!
Here are a few pics from date night.

Easter 2012

We are continually blessed by our church FBCTW. For the 3rd year in a row we celebrated Easter at The Woodlands Pavilion.  Service was beautiful as always; at the end we released live butterflies to celebrate new life in Christ! Here is the only pic I took at the Pavilion. Nate has a butterfly on his shirt!
After church, we were off to lunch at Vernon's Beer Garden and then to LouLou's house.

The kids loved their Easter baskets...filled w/swim suits, beach towels, toys, and a little bit of candy. We still have candy left over from Halloween!
Time to hunt for Easter eggs!

Dustin, Jessica, and Peyton joined us for the day. We are so blessed by our sweet Missouri friends!

Time to swim...one of the many perks of living in TX!

Happy Easter!
