Date Night:Downtown

Every once in a while, a weekend comes along where my husband and I feel like we can really focus on each other. We try to prioritize our marriage and get time away, but with a 6 and 2 year old, it's often really hard to make it happen. Last week, work was exhausting, so Willie let me choose what we were going to do for FBCTW monthly Kids' Night Out. It was opening night of

...so that was a no brainer! ;) Thanks, Willie for sitting through a chick flick with me.

We had plans to stay Saturday night in Houston at The Four Seasons.

 

I figured we just hang out and find a nice restaurant to eat at, but Willie was worried b/c it was the weekend before Valentine's Day. So, he woke up early on Saturday to plan our evening together. He made us reservations at III Forks.
Best. Meal. Ever!

 That morning, he also bought tickets to Cirque du Soleil Immortal.

It was a great show! I love me some MJ. Here we are before the show starts...

After the show we headed back to the Four Seasons to hang out together. Yes, I am all dolled up in a sparkly dress, patterned tights, and heels with a yummy drink in my hands. I don't get out often...
