Breckenridge Day #4

Nate graduated from ski school on day #3, so he's ready to ski with the big kids! Here is Jake, Nate, and Willie on the lift.
At the top of the mountain.

Nate was bummed that he wasn't able to ski with poles, so he grabbed mine as soon as he could.
My beautiful snow princess!

At the top of the lift, Nate caught sight of Ripperoo. He sped over to him as fast as he could. Ripperoo was more than eager to snap a picture with Nate.
I specifically instructed Nate to stay behind me the whole way down this slope. I z'd my way all the way down, back and forth, back and forth. He, on the other hand, flew straight down the mountain. This child had no fear at all. He beat me down every single time...by a lot!
Check out the video of my boy skiing down the slope.

After a full day of skiing, we went into Breckenridge and ate at Downstairs at Eric's. I definitely recommend making this stop if you're in Breckenridge, but get there early, b/c it was crazy crowded!
Afterwards, we stopped at Starbucks. Here's a cute pic of the babies with their first Starbucks drinks. The loved their caramel hot chocolates.

One of my very favorite moments of our entire trip was when we stumbled upon a live nativity performance on Christmas Eve in town. It was freezing, but worth every second! The church that performed spoke scripture, sang, danced, and told the entire story of Christmas. It was absolutely beautiful. Nate especially loved the story; he said it touched his heart.
Anna couldn't take her eye's off of the story either. She especially loved the singing and dancing.
Another beautiful day in Breckenridge!

Breckenridge Day #3

Nate continued ski school today while Willie, Jake, and I spent another day on the slopes. It snowed a lot the night before. So, this is the beautiful view we woke up to. Oh how I miss the snow covered trees in the winter! Breathtaking!!!

At the bottom of peak 8.

Imagine my surprise when I saw Nate at the top of the peak on the morning of his 2nd day at ski school! He was already skiing down the same mountain as me!

Here is a pic of Nate and his ski school instructor. At the end of the day, he said that Nate was his best student, and that his strength was SPEED! Imagine that!?

 The view from our room.

We finished our night at the arcade and the hotel restaurant, Spencer's. Tomorrow we ski with Nate!!!

Breckenridge Day #2

We stayed at Beaver Run Resort at the bottom of peak 8 in Breckenridge. Here are the kids all bundled up and ready for a day in the snow.

Willie took pity on me and gave me a reminder tutorial on how to ski. It's been a LONG time since I've been on the slopes. He even skied with me for most of the morning. After that, he left to do the blue and black runs, and I enjoyed my nice green loop over and over and over again.

 Nate and Riperoo!

After a FULL day of skiing, we headed out with Linda, Jake, and the kids to a sledding hill near the resort. Anna giggled all the way down the tiny hill we let her go down. Nate flew down the biggest hill at high speeds. He has no fear!
Yee Haw! Look at Willie sled! :)

We wrapped up the night at Bubba Gump's. Surprisingly everything was delicious and the service was great! Here is a cute pic of Nate with Lou Lou and Uncle Jake.
Check out the snow we walked through on the way home. Brrrrr....

I loved day #2 in Breckenridge.  Lot's more pictures from the rest of the week to come!
